At the barber's.
It's an older story that I wrote about a month ago but didn't have time to edit and post it....Yesterday the couple I live with had to go to the barber shop to have their hair cuts and invited me to go with them. I told them that I don't need a hair cut, but they insisted and told me I can wash my hair and that I will really like it. Confused, because my hair is clean and I wash it everyday, and kinda curious about it- I accepted the invitation. We come into the barber shop, first impression there are only male employees - good differentiation strategy:)Usually in Moldova if you wanna wash your hair you sit in a chair, bent your head back and there's a kind of sink where they wash your hair. To my big surprise(or not) in China it's sooooo different. We went upstairs and entered a room with 5 beds. Apparently you need to lie in the bed with your head bent a bit. See the picture.Washing hair in China is a process of 1 hour. First, they wash your hair and massage it for about 20 minutes. Then from your head/hair they move to the rest of your body- massaging not washing:) which takes another 20 minutes. Finally you get your hair dried and arranged. All that for only 2$.I am sure to come back...SOON:)
