Giving thanks.

The best part that I love about Thanksgiving is eating:) At EMU they did a buffet in one of the canteens. It was amazing. Wish I was there now, but looking back at the Freshman 15 that I gained, I'm better off in Moldova:))The other part about Thanksgiving is not necessarily saying "thank you" to people that you care about, but rather thinking about those people, the ones that played a great role in one's growth. I usually don't go further than thinking(especially it's not really our holiday), but today I just want to let those people know that I appreciate every moment spent together. When I think about them, I experience a great sense of melancholy and recognition, and as my professor Tubbs wrote in his book: you need to let know the people that influenced you. Today I want to say thank you to all the people that I met while I studied in US, all the professors, the university staff and students, a special thanks to the Theatre Troupe members that became like a family to me- my CloseUp family, a special thanks to the best professor, director and mentor Gayle Hurn. Though I have a copy of our shows(thanks to my buddy Troy) I still can't make myself watch it. But I play out in my mind the jokes and the great moments we had while writing, rehearsing and performing. I hope all of you are great and succeeding in everything you do.Thanks to my Eastern Europeans : Viki and Ivan. There's something about being from Eastern Europe, though we speak different languages we just feel connected on a higher level. Thanks to the best International Students at EMU, especially to Carien and Eugene. I miss our Briarwood Mall walks, movie times and making Eugene buy Twilight:)Thanks to my roommate Zhengyue Gu, who made me interested in Chinese culture, thus obliviously contributing to my decision when I chose to go to China.Thank you Adrian, for poker nights, drinking beers and watching Heroes, for calling me on regular basis while I was in China and hearing me out, thank you for caring.I want to say thank you to everyone who made my stay in China an unforgettable adventure. Thank you Couchsurfing community from Guangzhou. You guys made life in China easier and much more fun. Thanks to AIESEC trainees and our Monday traditions:) Special thanks to Toni, Max, Karla, Ewa and Jimmy, Sandy and Ellie. There's not enough space to write the ways you helped me out, the way I'm grateful for every word you told me and every action you took to ensure my well-being in China.Last but not least I'd like to thank all my friends from Moldova. Being back I realized how amazing it is to be home and be surrounded by people that genuinely care and make your life better everyday, by telling you how you screwed up and where you did great, and how you can do better. Therefore while I'm here I will try my best to let each one of you know how much you mean to me, so please don't be surprised when I do:) PS: I usually don't like to write these kind of stuff, so please don't hate me:)
